I've always loved combining rough, broken-in looking boots with very feminine dresses and accessories. These Frye 12-R harness boots may look like they'd walk right over any dress, not to mention a wool 3/4 length jacket with pave clasp, but I've found that they work really well with single color dresses, even dresses like this one with its empire waist and hip flares. Not sure about how well these boots would work with florals or stripes and will have to experiment. What are your thoughts, readers? Do you also like to go dressy on top and more casual on the bottom?Dress: Target
