Pole-dancing is not entirely wrong. But if you’re Miss USA, you’re not gonna get away from it that easy. On the “Recently” show on NBC, Rima Fakih defends herself, saying ‘I didn’t do anything wrong’. Shortly after Rima Fakih won the Miss USA 2010 Contest, pictures of her doing some pole-dancing went disclose on the internet, causing some people to ask if she deserved to win.
Fakih’s pole-dance pictures were taken when she joined WKQI-FM “Mojo in the Morning” radio show Stripper 101 contest 3 years ago.“I can’t deny the pictures, obviously people can see them,” she told show hosts Meredith Vieira and Matt Lauer in New York City.
Fakih further explains that the event was “not a stripper pole contest. It was actually a promotional event that my friend, who’s a DJ at a radio station, had for women to teach them how to dance and be sexy.”
