Working with Mariah Carey's Scent-sational Fragrances

I'm not sure about you but I have noticed lately that there are just too much scents and perfumes going on named after or co-created by famous and not-so-famous personalities being marketed in shops around the world. I have nothing against them. The truth is, I am a proud owner of Mariah Carey's perfume collections for the past two years and I must say that the lady has a nose for legitimate fragrance.

Exactly like what her slogan for her perfume collections say and I quote "The inspiration for this fragrance was Mariah's magical presence and artistry. By combining two very contrasted notes, an exotic Tahitian Tiare flower with a deliciously warm marshmallow, we wanted to express Mariah's utmost femininity and undeniable sensuality in one strong statement. We then incorporated other facets, like a Moroccan Incense Amber accord, to bring a component of mystery that lingers on skin. This harmonious balance of Mariah's favorite scents and memories is at the heart of this creation."

How chic can that be? I've been using M.C.'s perfume as my room air freshener for an entire year now and I don't think I will be changing it for the next few months. That is of course, if she doesn't come up with something far better than "M". Some critics even tried to bring the perfume down when it was yet to be released because they said it was just another marketing strategy for the diva. Well, I must admit that I could not agree more with the critics. It may be true that Mariah Carey may have used her powers and connections to make a little success out her new found business in perfumery. However, I must also add that the release of her first scent actually made me want it.

I know "M" was meant for the body but I simply could not let go of Paris Hilton's "Just Me" so I chose to use "M" inside my bedroom. I know M.C. would be fuming mad by now if she would only get to find out that I have been using her signature scent as an air freshener but what can I possibly do? She sold it, I bought it and I'll use it in any way that I want. Maybe if she can come up with a line of air fresheners which she might want to call "Call The Wind Mariah", maybe I'll stop using "M" as my bedroom's air freshener. Until then, I'll have many nights dreaming of exotic Tahitian flowers and warm marshmallows mixed with Moroccan Incense Amber accord and all that.

Incidentally, Mariah Carey recently developed new scents to fill up her growing collection of perfumes. After "M", she released "Forever" followed by "Luscious Pink" and "Luscious Pink Deluxe edition". "M" also came with "M Ultra Pink" and "M Gold Deluxe Edition". The most recent additions to the growing family are "Lollipop Bling Honey", "Lollipop Bling Mine Again" and "Lollipop Bling Ribbon" which might be great additions to your wedding gift list.
