Hands-on with Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

The folks at MobileBurn takes a look at the new updated Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android Honeycomb tablet that was revealed at CTIA 2010. The Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is the bigger brother of the Galaxy Tab, featuring a 10.1″ display 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 3.0 and an 3MP camera that can record video in HD.

Shortly after that leak of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1″ specs, now there are new pictures of the new tablet and the Galaxy S2 smartphone, too.
Along with these pics comes confirmation of those specs we reported on earlier — the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab has an 8-megapixel camera with HD recording and playback, 1200 x 800 resolution, and runs the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS.

Introducing Emily

emily, a love story. from emily berna on Vimeo.

Next up in the Sponsored Yogis, I'd like to introduce you to Emily Berna. She is one creative lady who totally blew me away with this sweet video in her application for the sponsorship program.

Isn't it adorable?! Totally demonstrates her passion for cool digital media and for yoga. A wonderful mix if you ask me :)

Photos courtesy of Emily.

Here's a bit more from Emily on her background and yoga:
I teach high school chemistry on the south side of Chicago.  I used to work in environmental consulting, but didn't love it, so I decided to teach.  In addition to yoga I love cooking, photography, gardening, knitting, reading, and avoiding housework.

I'm excited for the sponsorship because I'm so new to yoga I haven't had much chance to explore all the different styles and meet all the different people who practice yoga.  I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and learning from others about anything related to yoga.

Beards, Adventures and Chocolate

Just found this video via Honest Fare, one of my favorite food bloggers, and had to share. These guys could totally pass for pirates as well as chocolate makers! Plus, the Mast Brothers have a masculine strength and fascinating intellect that fits perfectly with the new Real Men Do Yoga series, I say.

Their story is beautiful, their beards impressive, and their philosophy spot-on. As one brother says, "Everything roots back to our love affair with the spirit of craft." From their chocolates to the papers that wrap them, to their restored printing press and the sailboats that carry their cocoa beans, the brothers are inspired by the handcrafted items that surround them.

Super cool chocolate makers. Photo from The Mast Brothers Facebook page.

Even more awesome: they aren't looking to produce anything en mass. It's all intricate, detailed, original. As they say, "We're looking for an inconsistent product so your taste buds are not only enjoying the sensuality of (the chocolate), but they're also learning." Every bar is its own little joy!

Chocolate with the adventurousness of a Mark Twain story. Chocolate made with adventure, curiosity, and spirit. I love it!

Check out their Brooklyn chocolate shop, their Facebook, and their sweet blog. Hope you get a bar in your stocking!
