Karachi born in 1978,
Zara Sheikh is not just a film actress but a versatile, talented young lady. She has started her carrier as a
Fashion Model, when she was just a student and then did some commercials for Television. Her most popular advertisement was ‘
Jazz’ commercial. She has earned lots of fame through this commercial, not only in Television but also in newspapers, magazine and in billboards as well. She was considered as ‘Jazz Girl’ of Pakistan both at national and international level.
Other then shining on the
ramps of the
fashion shows, she also gave attractive photo shoots for magazines etc. In this way by screening her guts through all these platforms she got chance to work in films as well. She presented her first hit ‘
Tere Pyaar Main’ in 2001,
‘Chalo Ishq Larain’ in 2002’,
‘Salakhein’ in 2004, and then
‘Phela Phela Pyaar’ in 2006. After working hard in all these film projects, she started knowing more as a film heroin.
But as she is a multi-talented girl, so she has also stood for her abilities as a Singer too. Besides modeling, & acting Zara has also released her solo album, which proved her singing ability at both national and international level. She has also sung two songs for her film, Chalo Ishq Larain’.
In all these fields, Zara Sheikh has proved herself as one of the renowned and shining star of Pakistan. After doing all these, she still has dream to do more to prove herself as recognition of Pakistan in her respected fields.
In 2005, Zara Sheikh also planned along with the other stars of Pakistani Film industry to hold a SARRC cinema festival to make stronger regional cinema. She said some big names of the Lollywood to help her in organizing a festival to screen films made by the SARRC countries. She also asked Ministry of Culture officials to help her in this regard. The actress did all these efforts for the betterment of the Pakistani Film Industry. She is still very much interested in promoting the Pakistani Film stars as well as to boost the economy of the film industry.
Zara love to watch Art films. She is a girl who loves her characters, as she things people remember you in relation with your character. So it’s necessary to perform your character with honesty.
