On a Yoga Cloud (or...The Headless Yogi)

I was in dire, dire need of yoga this evening. I had been waiting on feedback for a proposal and had managed to twist myself into knots over how it would be received. I used yoga,friends, wine, and pumpkin lasagna to try to unwind, but I've still been a little more exhausted and on-edge than I would like.
After wine and horrible film-watching with a friend last night, I woke up this morning and checked my e-mail every hour. When I got word that my proposal was more or less OK, I ran about too giddy and full of caffeine to sit down and make the necessary changes.

I had a feeling that yoga tonight would bring me the clarity of mind needed to sit down and work instead of dancing around to Lady Gaga. I wore what I like to call my "cloud" outfit--different shades of blue for calm. I love, love, love these yoga pants with wide legs and the slit up the back. It's such an unusual place for one and I actually welcome the attention it brings to my calves, a feature I usually try to hide.

P.S. Am headless because hair refused to be photographed after having been in my face during various pretzel poses.

Betty eventually did find some great yoga clothing for women online, and that is where she decided to make her purchases. For the price that she would have paid for a simple pair of yoga pants at her yoga studio, she ended up buying an entire outfit, a yoga mat and a yoga bag. The amount of money she saved actually paid for a whole month's worth of yoga classes!
This proves that shopping online for yoga clothes or any kind of yoga equipment is a very good idea, one that will allow you to buy more and actually get to choose from a much wider variety of styles, designs, fabrics and sizes.

Lulu Loot and The Red Shoes

OK, yes. I am attempting to do tree pose on top of a toilet lid. I feel like I can do anything in my new lululemon groove pants (I'm only sort of kidding here. Love, love, love the pants). LHdM got me a gift certificate for the store and I wasted no time in going down to claim these. I would feel comfortable doing downward dog or going out to coffee with anyone in these pants--they're tight, but they have a lovely belly-squishing panel and flare out a little at the bottom, so they're a good mix of comfortable and stylish.

And they even go well with the El Naturalista Red Shoes of Joy. I have actually worn these to the studio, along with bright red lipstick (hey, I was experimenting with reds and passed it off as a date with yoga).

What Exactly is True Health


Health is the condition of homeostasis, equilibrium, plus stability in every section of our body. The main target is to get a vigorous body and mind and we do not permit bad health to come in our way. This bad health can be in the form of some unfair physical condition or any unfair mental condition. It is an illusory degree and imaginary level of protection of our body through which we know the condition of our body. It is important that every section of our body should be well-balanced. Some sections like physical, psychological, and spiritual are the section that touches everybody’s life. Therefore a proper co-ordination between all these sections is required for a healthy life.

Our physical power will be at the zenith level and we can perform any physical and mental activity with great endurance. Exercise is very important to make our body fit. It is the way through which we can care our physical health. We should not make any excuses to stay away from exercise because it is not going to give us any benefit. Similarly mental strength is also required for a good life. You should try to remain satisfied with present condition however you should give your best to improve further. It can develop your inner strength and the will-power to do better every time. You can stay happily which is going to change the way you look towards the life. We should make a habit to wake-up every morning with a smile and a sense of expectation to do better today. These simple points can be very helpful and you can feel the positive changes in your life.
