Orange makes people concentrate on what they do, so it might help in the sales process. People in the entertainment world also love the orange ties. Especially if they are silk. Since orange is such a cheerful colour this tie is well appreciated in the entertainment business. You will often see TV show hosts wearing them.

Orange is believed to increase appetite, so if you are into kitchen appliances business or a sales representative in a store like that, this tie might subconsciously push your customers to buy. You can even wear it a furniture store in the dining department. Orange will make people feel like they are in their own homes and might once again urge them to buy new tablecloths, silverware or china. Anything associated with food.

You can also wear an orange tie as an attire for an office party. If you do not have the time to change outfits, just bring an extra orange tie and put it on when the party begins. Be brave and creative and wear orange!

With the party season with us once again, its worth while thinking about accessories that add can touch of style and finesse to your suit and jacket. The best way to accessorise is with a tie and a pocket square for you jacket or blazer. Given some thought these accessories can give you the cutting edge when it comes to fashion.

The golden rule for ties is to wear a plain tie with a patterned shirt and if wearing a patterned tie, wear a plain shirt. A simple rule, but if broken it will make you stand out from the crowd for all the wrong reasons.

Think about colour, a common mistake is to wear colours that don't match, take some time, if in doubt, try using a use a colour wheel, these are easily found on the internet, to find which colours compliment each other.

Dark colours are preferable in winter, while pastel colours are more suitable for the summer months, wool based ties are now fashionable and stripes are quite popular, if in doubt stick to a plain, solid colour.

If you are not a regular tie wearer, practice tying your tie before your evening out, the simple rules to follow are to ensure the tie is the correct length at the front, it is supposed to reach the waist band of your trousers, if it doesn't, keep trying to achieve the optimum length.

Pocket Squares are now very popular, traditionally associated with businessmen, they add a touch of class to any jacket or blazer and they can be worn casually as well. There are some great silk pocket scarves available, but cotton may be more practical and versatile. Don't be afraid to use colour, rather than white, be adventurous.

In general, try to achieve some coordination with your pocket square and your shirt or tie. If patterned, it can be an exact match, but it doesn't have to be. As long as their maybe a background colour, but always aim for some colour coordination.

Spend some time on folding your pocket square correctly and you will be able to brighten up any outfit, while adding a touch of class.
