This spring we are going to see a continuation of the bold colors, exciting patterns and different materials we saw in 2010. The difference in 2011 is that we are going to be introduced more deeply into the world of casual wear. Long gone are the days where it takes a woman over an hour to put together that perfect outfit; simple is the key to new spring fashions and for many women this is a relief. We live in a very high paced society and the more time we have to spare the more potential our upcoming day has to be successful and maybe even relaxing if you're lucky!

The great thing about spring is that you can take your layering techniques from the fall but add more color and femininity to them. The fall trends are always about dark and warm colors to prepare you for those long winter months and by the time spring gets here all we want to do is wear fluorescent pinks and incredibly bright patterns to get back into the summer styles. Layering can be done successfully in the spring months by considering a few different options.

For example, the dark colored leggings you saw everywhere in the fall are now going to be in crop length and created out of all the colors in the rainbow. No matter what color you're hoping to find it's out there and likely with a crazy pattern as well; if that's what you're looking for. The same goes for long cardigans, tunics and long tank tops; all of which can be layered and worn with leggings for a great spring look. Don't forget to pair this outfit with your best flats and/or sandals and get back into the feel of spring and summer as soon as you can.

You can most definitely bring out your summer dresses early this year and layer them with cute aviator jackets and frilly sweaters that are sure to be extremely hot this spring. By investing in a great maxi dress, whether it is a strapless or halter style, you can begin wearing it as soon as the warmer weather hits by layering it and get as much use out of it as possible. Skinny jeans are not new to the women's casual wear industry but you will find them with different style twists this year to refresh their image. Zipper ankles, cropped lengths and boyfriend styles are becoming extremely popular and can be worn the same way as the traditional skinny jean. These jeans are easy to wear, comfortable and they are the epitome of casual clothing for 2011.

2011 is all about comfort, neutral colors, simple style creations matched with bold accessories and bold materials. Take your pick and run with it! There is nothing better than being confident in your chosen style and taking advantage of a fashion trend that is not going anywhere, the casual wear era.
