Julianna Margulies’ braided chignon looked great at the Golden Globes on Sunday night! Read on for tips from hairstylist Matthew Monzon on how to get the look:
“We wanted to go with something simple, chic, and somewhat understated. We started off with clean damp hair. I took Leonor Greyl Sérum de Soie Sublimateur and worked it into the hair through the ends. Then, I blow-dried straight with a round brush to give some volume through the top. Once dry, I pulled the hair back into a low ponytail and secured with a bungee-band and did a fishtail braid to create a bit of texture and interest to the chignon. Once finished with the braid I wrapped the braid and pinned it into a chignon and finished off the look with Elnet hairspray.”
