Splurging Styles?

I didn't go browsing for it or anything. When Anthropologie's new catalogue appears in your inbox, though, it's hard to resist fantasy shopping. I've come to realize that I sometimes fantasy shop for items I could see myself wearing fairly often, like the lovely Marston skirt above, but that I'm also strangely drawn to pieces that don't quite fit my style, like the cardigan below.
Funny thing is, when I do splurge it's usually on the quirky (for me) pieces. Maybe my wardrobe functions the way the body does when it craves nutrients and is just demanding that I buy that floral cardi to stave off blue dress disease. I don't know.
I'm having the same issues (well, not really because I can't afford either pair. But if I had a million dollars...) with the new Fluevog boots.
